JOHANNESBURG – Eastern Cape law enforcement officials are trying to determine the cause of a plane crash involving a light aircraft.
The plane crashed just outside the Addo Elephant National Park last week.
The wreckage of the plane was found late yesterday.
The pilot was killed.
The plane was one of three light aircraft flying from Port Alfred to Port Elizabeth.
Police Spokesperson Captain John Fobian says detectives and members of the Civil Aviation Authority were on scene this morning to ascertain the cause of the accident and assess whether there was any foul play.
