On arrival in Kenton-on-Sea we tend to the very important business of coffee. In picture we’re sampling the good stuff at ‘Crema’, part of The House Planner.

This used to be Mike (ii)’s favourite caffeine top-up haunt until he recently relocated to Cape Town. Not in picture are stunning views across the town of the Kariega River Mouth and Indian Ocean beyond.

From Port Elizabeth we travel up the N2 (National Road 2) past Colchester to the Nanaga Farm Stall where we stop for snacks and shopping. Some of you love our traditional biltong and others not so much…

From the farm stall we turn onto the coastal R72 road, direction East London. At the small town of Alexandria we turn off onto a gravel road that takes us through the Alexandria Forest. As we emerge on the other side we stop to take in the view (see picture) across green dairy farm hills towards the Alexandria Dunefield.
