From Port Elizabeth/ Nelson Mandela Bay I took a tour around the Addo Elephant park, and the Schotia wildlife park. Addo is recreating the animals and environment that would have existed pre-european settlement; Schotia is a private game park with a range of animals to help you tick off the "big 5". Interestingly both are actually dairy farm conversions – a possible plan B for Fonterra…?
