Addo’s Hermitage House Independent School is excited to announce its upcoming Colour Run, taking place on 16 May 2026 at the Addo Polo Club. This colourful, family-friendly event invites the community to come together for a morning of fun, fitness, and connection.
The Colour Run celebrates community spirit and inclusivity, welcoming participants of all ages to enjoy an outdoor experience filled with colour, laughter, and activity.
The event offers three race options to suit everyone: the 50m Toddler Dash starting at 10:00 (R30), the 5km Fun Run starting at 10:15 (R95), and the 2km Walk/Run starting at 10:45 (R65).
Registration will take place from 09:00 to 10:45, giving families time to arrive, get ready, and enjoy the atmosphere before the races begin.
Beyond the run, there will be plenty of entertainment for children and families. A Kiddies Corner (R20 entrance) will feature activities including a jumping castle, while Popsi the Clown will offer face painting from 09:00 to 11:00 (R40). Food and refreshments will be sold by the school throughout the morning.
Entries are available online only via Quicket, and participants will receive a goodie bag with their online entry.
This is more than just a race, the Colour Run offers an opportunity for the community to gather, support local initiatives, and enjoy a vibrant morning outdoors with family and friends.
Residents from across the region are encouraged to lace up their running shoes, bring their families, and join the celebration of colour and community.
